Once hailing from the planet Dathomir, Maul is a male Zabrak warrior that was given to Darth Sidious as a child by Mother Talzin in a bid to secure her place in the Galactic Empire to come. Under Sidious, Maul was christened Darth Maul and was taught the ways of the Dark Side, eventually becoming an incredibly dangerous Sith Assassin.
